Backend Lead XLab

Requirements

Must have:

In this role you will be responsible for leading an agile team (Kanban/Scrum) across different locations, ensuring continuous delivery of new functionality, efficiency, compliance with engineering standards, and building quality-based development culture. Your tasks will also include:
• Proven ability to lead and grow people (coaching, feedback, accountability) in a distributed setup.
• Excellent stakeholder skills: communicate clearly with senior leadership and influence decisions with facts, clarity, and persuasion.
• Fluency in (Swiss) German and English (required).
• Deep knowledge of Java and the Java Virtual Machine (JVM).
• Experience in building microservice-based backends using Java + Spring Boot.
• Practical experience with Docker and container orchestration—preferably Kubernetes.
