Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and motivated AWS Backend Developer with 3–5 years of experience to join our cloud engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in building backend services on AWS using serverless and microservices architectures, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Development
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using AWS cloud technologies.
Build RESTful APIs and event-driven services using AWS services.
Cloud Integration
Develop and deploy solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Dynamo DB, SQS, SNS , and other core AWS services.
Security and Compliance
Implement security best practices such as IAM roles and policies, encryption, and secure data handling.
Serverless & Microservices
Build and maintain serverless and microservices-based architectures for high scalability and availability.
Collaboration
Work closely with frontend developers, QA, product managers, and solution architects to deliver high-quality solutions.
Troubleshooting & Support
Identify and resolve production issues related to AWS infrastructure and backend services.
Proof-of-Concept (Po C)
Participate in Po Cs to evaluate new AWS services and backend frameworks.
Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills
3–5 years of experience in backend or cloud application development.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Dynamo DB, SQS, SNS , and IAM.
Proficiency in Node.js, Type Script/Java Script, and Python.
Experience with AWS CDK / Infrastructure as Code.
Good understanding of serverless and microservices architectures.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using AWS tools.
Working knowledge of security best practices in AWS.
Problem Solving
Strong analytical and debugging skills.
Communication
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
AWS Associate-level certification is a plus.
Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS/EKS) is beneficial.
Exposure to system design and scalable backend architectures.
