Backend Python Support Engineer (TDD, APIs, System Design)
Overview
I'm a Senior Backend Engineer working on a high-intensity contract building modular, production-grade backend services (Gmail/Jira-style systems) using Python and strict Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Due to increasing workload, I'm looking for a dedicated Backend Support Engineer who will work closely with me, push code daily, and help execute backend tasks efficiently.
This is an active development role — not coordination or passive support.
Compensation
Budget: ₹20,000 per month (fixed)
Commitment: ~40 hours/week
Duration: 9 months (long-term engagement possible)
Timezone Requirement: Minimum 4-hour overlap with PST
