Job Description
Experience : 7+ Years of Experience in CommVault and Cloud backup solutions
Location - Guwahati
Hands on experience :
- Hands on experience on Commvault architecture (COMM Serve, Media Agent, iDataAgent)
- Backup types and sub client configuration.
- Hands-on understanding of DDB, Storage Policy design, or VSA proxy functionality.
Preferred Skills:
1. Hands on working experience with Backup software like CommVault, NetBackup, Veeam OnPrem & Cloud Migrations / Azure VM backups etc.
2. Proficient with Linux OS.
3. Primary Troubleshooting of the backup or restoration failure issues.
4. Good understanding on Cloud backup technologies like (GCP /Azure / AWS)
5. Must have worked on backup hardware like (physical / Virtual Tape Library (VTL), disk-based backups, understanding to take backup via SAN, NAS and other mediums.
6. Closely monitor the Backup jobs and dashboard to track the real time backup failures.
