Job Description

1. Documentation Management Maintain daily backup reports, error history logbook, and updates in the Emsigner application. Create and maintain detailed documentation of backup systems, processes, and configurations. Maintain backup and restore documentation as per SOP. Record and document backup and restore failures as per SOP. Manage backup operations, off-site Tape Media, and inventory/asset management. Replace tapes in the tape library and maintain accurate asset inventory records. Perform data verification from disk and tape as per SOP. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for documentation. Ensure all documentation is maintained without tampering and is legible. Complete the required trainings as per SOP. 2. Backup System Audits Coordinate and support backup system audits to assess compliance and effectiveness.
