Job Description

The Baker's primary responsibility is to support the Pastry and Bakery department in preparing and serving bakery items efficiently, learning both traditional techniques and modern bakery artistry. Collaboration with the pastry team and other culinary members is essential to enhance the overall dining experience. 

Bakery Support

  • Assist in the preparation of a wide range of pastries, breads, and other such baked goods, utilizing scratch cooking techniques. 
  • Learn and apply various bakery and pastry techniques, including baking, assembling, and decorating. 
  • Culinary Execution: 

  • Follow established recipes and bakery standards to ensure consistency and quality in every item produced. 

  • Contribute to the presentation of pastries and breads, ensuring they reflect the artistry of high-end work. 

  • Ensure proper proofing times and storage techniques to maintain quality standards. 

  • Guest Experience Focus: 

  • Help create a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations by supporting the delivery of high- quality, beautifully presented breads and baked items. 

  • Engage with guests when necessary to enhance their experience and foster appreciation for fine cuisine/ 

  • Operational Support: 

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry station, adhering to health and safety standards at all times. 

  • Assist in the daily setup and breakdown of the pastry area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and properly maintained. 

  • Requirement

  • Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree 
  • Work exp.: Min. 2 years to 3 years of relevant work experience in last 5 years
  • Language: German A2 Level Min. (Few Employers might ask for B1 Level) / English B2 Level
