Job Description

Pulse is seeking a band 6 Psychologist with experience in acute mental health with excellent interpersonal skills to join our NHS client based in Ashton-Under-Lyne, Lancashire. This vacancy is available to start as soon as possible for an initial period of 3 months.

As an integral part of the acute mental health team, you will be vital in providing high-quality psychological assessment and treatment to patients in an inpatient setting.

Requirements:

  • Hold a qualification Counselling Psychology
  • Be HCPC registered
  • Be analytical and show good attention to detail
  • Experience of inpatient and/or residential services is preferred, particularly acute mental health inpatient services
  • Experience of working with clients with severe and complex mental health problems is required as is experience of working in multidisciplinary teams
