We are seeking a motivated candidate to join a jack‑up rig as a Roustabout, with a structured training path leading to the role of Barge Engineer. This position requires willingness to develop into a key operational role seen in the description below.

Function description

As a Barge Engineer in training on a jack‑up rig, you will support daily marine operations by assisting with barge stability monitoring, basic ballast adjustments, and routine checks on the jacking system. Your role will include minor but essential tasks such as recording stability data, observing preload operations, and helping ensure safe vessel positioning while developing the skills needed to progress into a fully qualified Barge Engineer.

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you should possess the following qualifications.

• Marine education
• STCW and offshore certificates
• Technical knowledge on barge stability
• Technical knowledge on jacking systems
• A few years offshore experience.
• A willing to work and learn attitude.
• Flexible for shift changes and work night shift.
