Role Overview
The Barista is responsible for engaging guests during their visit, receiving and serving orders, and ensuring that coffee, beverage, and snack standards are delivered at the highest level. The role contributes to a welcoming and memorable guest experience while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
Key Accountabilities
- Greet guests warmly with a genuine smile and willingness to assist, ensuring a personalized and positive experience.
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, beverages, and snacks consistently to high quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of the bar and workspace at all times.
- Ensure all guest needs are met, actively seeking feedback and aiming for the highest level of satisfaction.
- Restock and replenish inventory and supplies to maintain smooth operations.
- Handle billing accurately, processing cash and credit card transactions correctly.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of all beverages, food items, promotions, and special offers.
- Upsell drinks and food to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Barista in a high-volume or luxury environment.
- Strong coffee knowledge and relevant certifications.
- Excellent command of English; additional languages are considered an asset.
