Job Description

The Bartender is a vital member of the beverage service team, responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality across a variety of beverage service environments, including lounges, pool bars, bespoke cocktail bars, and fine dining restaurants. This role involves crafting a diverse range of beverages, providing personalized service, and creating memorable experiences for guests. The Bartender will also play a key role in servicing special parties, events, amenity programs, and ritual toasts, ensuring that all offerings align with the standards of luxury and excellence.

Personalized Service: 

  • Provide attentive and personalized service, ensuring that each guest feels valued and welcomed. 
  • Engage with guests to understand their preferences and make tailored recommendations that enhance their experience.

  • Always maintain a friendly and professional demeanor, embodying the spirit of hospitality and genuine heart.

    Event and Amenity Support: 

  • Assist in the setup and execution of special parties and events, including crafting signature cocktails and coordinating beverage service. 

  • Participate in amenity programs and ritual toasts, ensuring a seamless experience for guests and contributing to memorable moments. 

  • Operational & Excellence: 

  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring compliance standards. 

  • Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies, ensuring the bar is well-stocked and prepared for service. 

  • Collaborate with the beverage team to optimize workflow and efficiency during peak service periods. 

  • Team Collaboration:  

  • Work effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless integration of food and beverage offerings. 

  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve skills and knowledge, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence. 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus.

  • Certification in mixology or bartending from an accredited institution is preferred. 

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of bartending experience in a high-end hospitality environment is required.

  • Proven ability to work in diverse beverage settings, including lounges, pool bars, and fine dining restaurants. Strong 

  • Education: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus. Certification in mixology or bartending from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Experience :

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of bartending experience in a high-end hospitality environment is required. Proven ability to work in diverse beverage settings, including lounges, pool bars, and fine dining restaurants. Strong 
  • Responsibilities: 

  • Craft a variety of beverages with precision and flair Craft a variety of beverages with precision and flair, ensuring each drink meets the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Ensure recipes are followed for cocktails and batch cocktails. Precise use of beverage scaing equipment is required.

    Ensure all bar snacks are fresh and fully stocked for service in all bars and lounges according to programming. 

  • Maintain impeccably clean beverage trolleys and ensure all service ware and products related to trolley service are in peak condition. 

  • Provide personalized service by engaging with guests, understanding their preferences, and making tailored recommendations. 

  • Anticipate guest needs and proactively address requests to enhance their experience. Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to beverage service and storage.

  • Participate in all required safety training and safety drills. 

  • Maintain workstations that are always VSP compliant. 

  • Follow proper safety techniques for transporting products and requisitions around the vessel.

  • Collaborate with the team to optimize service efficiency during busy periods and special events

  • Foster a collaborative work environment by maintaining open communication with fellow team members and management. 

  • Participate in training sessions to enhance beverage knowledge and service skills, contributing to the overall success of the team. 

  • Math Ability-able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. 

  • Reasoning Ability-ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or in diagram form.

  • Ability to deal with problem involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
