Role Overview

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Selenium, and Playwright to join our QA team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web applications, with a focus on ensuring product quality and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Python, Selenium, and Playwright .
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and create effective test strategies.
• Automate regression, functional, and integration tests to ensure faster delivery cycles.
• Implement CI/CD integration for automated test execution.
• Identify, analyze, and report defects effectively, working closely with development teams to drive timely resolutions.
• Continuously improve automation coverage and efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest automation tools, trends, and best practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of proven experience in QA automation with a strong focus on Python scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Playwright for automation testing.
• Solid understanding of automation frameworks, design patterns, and best practices .
• Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured (Python-based preferred).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
• Strong debugging and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with performance or load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).
• Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) in the context of testing.
