Position Summary

The Bed Allocator navigates a complex work environment with shifting priorities and tight timelines and acts as a liaison between admitting and receiving parties. The Bed Allocator assigns beds according to the established and agreed upon clinical criteria and priorities, and collaborates with the Flow Coordinator, Infection Control, Directors, Resource /Charge Nurse and/or community partners to assist in placement of patients.
