About the role

As a Beekeeper at MT HUNEE', you will be responsible for the care and management of the company's beehives, ensuring the health and productivity of the bee colonies. This full-time position is based in Mareeba QLD 4880 and is a crucial role within our Agronomy & Farm Services division.

What you'll be doing

  • Inspect and maintain beehives to monitor the health and population of bee colonies

  • Harvest and process honey, wax, and other hive products

  • Identify and treat any pests or diseases affecting the bee colonies

  • Expand and split colonies to increase the number of hives as needed

  • Ensure the proper storage and transportation of hive equipment and products
