Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. A school district in Aurora, IL, is seeking experienced Behavior Specialists and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support K-12 special education classrooms. This contract position is available for the current school year (CSY). Qualifications: Behavior Specialist certification or related experience for working with K-12 students Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required for BCBA positions Experience implementing behavior intervention plans in school settings Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators and support staff Location: Aurora, Illinois Job Type: Contract Duration: Current School Year (CSY) Responsibilities: Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administration to support students with behavioral needs Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly Provide training and guidance to school personnel regarding behavior management strategies Maintain thorough documentation to ensure compliance with special education requirements Additional Information: This opportunity is aligned with A.E.R.O.
