Job Description

A full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position is available in an elementary school setting located in Bear, DE. This role focuses on providing behavior support to all students within the school who do not have an autism classification. The contract runs through the next school year, ending on June 12, 2026, with on-site work required during school hours from 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting functional behavior assessments and developing individualized behavior support plans.
  • Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to implement evidence-based behavioral interventions.
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Providing professional development and guidance related to behavior management practices.
  • Supporting school-wide behavior initiatives to foster a positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Hold active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Possess Delaware licensure; experience within school settings is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis and experience working with elementary-aged children.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educators and families.
  • Commitment to supporting a diverse student population with various behavioral needs, excluding those classified under autism.
