A school-based opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a K-12 educational setting located in Middletown, DE. This full-time contract position runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026, and involves working Monday through Friday for 37.5 hours per week. The role serves students with severe disabilities and autism, with an age range from 2 to 22 years old. Key responsibilities include: Conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) tailored to individual student needs Collaborating with educational teams to set and review behavior goals as part of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Providing de-escalation support and participating as an integral member of the schools crisis intervention team Assisting in accurate behavior data collection and analysis to inform programming Supporting school staff and students by addressing behavior-related challenges within the educational environment Qualifications and experience: Active Delaware BCBA licensure/certification required (verification needed) Proven experience working with individuals who have severe disabilities and autism Strong skills in behavior assessment, intervention planning, and crisis management Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams within a school setting This position is strictly on-site, providing direct interaction with students and staff.
