Therapy Masters is looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Behavior Therapist on a contract/freelance basis. What we're looking for:
- Experience: 2+ years working in ABA Therapy or with children with Autism, Global Developmental Delay, or other special needs.
- Qualifications: RBT, BCBA, or BCaBA credentials are a bonus Don't have them yet? No problem—we provide training.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Understanding of the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Knowledge of speech & language concepts, teaching occupational skills, and academic concepts.
- Creativity in preparing engaging, personalized learning materials and activities.
- Proficiency in English with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Personal Attributes:
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with children with special needs.
- A knack for creating a positive, motivating environment for learning and growth.
What you'll do: As a Behavior Therapist with Therapy Masters, you will:
- Conduct engaging 1:1 home-based therapy sessions with children.
- Perform behavior and initial assessments to tailor interventions.
- Develop session goals and individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Implement creative strategies to meet each child's unique needs and interests.
- Write detailed session notes, progress reports, and monthly updates.
- Collaborate closely with parents, providing updates and actionable strategies.
- Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors to ensure the highest quality of care.
