Behaviour Support Assistant

Contract: Full‑Time

We are recruiting an experienced and compassionate Behaviour Support Worker / Behaviour Mentor to join a specialist all‑through SEND setting supporting pupils aged 4–19 with complex educational needs. The school provides highly individualised, active and sensory‑rich learning experiences designed to help pupils build independence, confidence and essential life skills in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

About the Role

As a Behaviour Support Worker / Behaviour Mentor, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small group behaviour support tailored to individual needs

*

Use positive, trauma‑informed and restorative strategies to support emotional regulation, social engagement and readiness to learn

*

Work with pupils with severe or profound learning difficulties, Autism (ASC) and associated sensory or communication needs
