We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at a alternative provision supporting pupils who require a more personalised and therapeutic approach to education.
This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning, develop positive behaviours and re-engage with education.
About the Role
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who may display challenging behaviour due to social, emotional or mental health needs (SEMH). You will support students both in and out of the classroom, helping them to regulate emotions, develop positive coping strategies and access learning in a safe and supportive environment.
You will work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals to implement behaviour support strategies and contribute to creating a calm, structured and nurturing setting.
