Behaviour support mentor – Secondary schools
Do you have experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour and want to make a real difference in their lives? We’re working with a mainstream secondary school in Liverpool that supports children and young people aged 7–16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Autism (ASC), and behavioural challenges. The school is seeking a resilient, proactive Behaviour Support Mentor to join their team full-time.
This role is ideal for individuals with backgrounds in youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, social care, or residential support who are confident in building positive relationships and encouraging change.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs
Implementing behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques
