A Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Newbury is looking for a Behaviour Teaching Assistant to support their pupils, and act as a positive role model. This is an ideal position for an individual interested in behaviour management, youth work, psychology or education.

The students have this school have a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and display anti-social and challenging behaviours, often as a result of their emotional difficulties. You will play a key role in supporting the students with behaviour regulation and emotional needs, implementing de-escalation techniques, and providing consistency and positive reinforcement. You will also work alongside Teachers, SENCOs and mental health professionals, to provide the students with the best education possible.
