LaSalle Network is hiring a Benefits Specialist for an educational institution supporting more than 150 employees. This Benefits Specialist role is contract-to-hire and offers hands-on ownership of benefits administration while partnering with a collaborative HR team.

As a Benefits Specialist, you will:

  • Administer group benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability and retirement plans
  • Manage enrollments, COBRA, claims support and employee inquiries
  • Partner with vendors and brokers to ensure service excellence and cost efficiency
  • Support audits, compliance testing and benefits reporting
  • Manage FMLA and Leaves
  • Maintain accurate benefits data in HRIS platforms
  • Assist with benefits communications and open enrollment initiatives

  • What’s needed?
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
  • 2–5 years of benefits administration experience
  • Working knowledge of ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA and ADA
  • Advanced Excel experience required (pivot tables and VLOOKUPS)
  • Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills
  • Experience supporting large, multi-state employee populations
