About the job Benefits Verification Specialist

Key responsibilities

  • Will provide inbound and outbound telephony.
  • Will handle full benefit verification with patient insurance.
  • Will provide information back to Alkermes and document.
  • Will communicate relevant information to Alkermes Patient Access Service Team (PAS)
  • Will provide follow up with Specialty Pharmacy (SP) when needed to determine whether or confirm the drug has been delivered.
  • Will provide Transition related Services to Participants (Appendix A)
  • Completed a minimum of 2 years in college
  • 1 Plus years healthcare call center. Claims or Health Insurance background preferred.
  • Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills
  • Handy with MS Windows and other computer applications
