BI Developer

 1. Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven and technically proficient Business Intelligence (BI) Officer to join our Data & Analytics team. This role requires strong expertise in ETL processes, data warehousing, and data visualization, along with hands-on experience in both on-premise and AWS cloud BI environments. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of modern BI tools and have domain exposure to sectors like banking, financial services, telecom, government, aviation, or technology consulting.

 2. Must-Have Skills (Mandatory)

* Strong experience in ETL development and workflow design

* Proficiency in data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and architecture

* Hands-on with SQL, PL/SQL, and Python for data manipulation

* Experience with big data tools such as Spark, Hive, Kafka, HDFS, and NiFi

* Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau

* Familiarity with data governance, data validation, and security standards

* Experience with structured and unstructured datasets

 3. Good-to-Have Skills (Optional)

* Experience with NoSQL databases and traditional RDBMS

* Familiarity with Scala and data lake architectures

* Understanding of CI/CD practices in BI solution deployments

* Relevant certifications in AWS, BI tools, or Data Engineering

 4. Qualifications & Experience

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field

* Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in BI development or data engineering

* Experience working in on-premise as well as AWS cloud environments

* Exposure to one or more of the following sectors is highly preferred:

  * Banking / Financial Services

  * Telecommunications

  * Government / Public Sector

  * Aviation

  * Technology / IT Consulting
