About the Role

Bid Manager – part of the Rail Business, responsible for leading the bid process for international and national rail projects on behalf of Siemens.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Review project specifications, technical scopes, and proposed contract terms and conditions.
  • Assemble and lead high-performing bid teams with the required expertise.
  • Plan, manage, and control all bid activities, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Deliver all aspects of the tender process, including documentation, presentations, and formal submissions.
  • Identify and communicate commercial, financial, and technical risks to management.
  • Conduct client presentations, trials, and testing at pre‑ or post‑qualification stages.
