This role is being hired by Ceed on behalf of one of our clients, who works extensively on government contracts and public-sector projects across multiple countries and sectors. The selected candidate will be directly engaged on client assignments, working on global tenders and bids in a remote capacity from India.
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bid Writer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in government tenders and bids, who has contributed to or been involved in winning public-sector contracts. This role involves a combination of bid writing, tender tracking, and administrative coordination, supporting submissions across multiple countries and sectors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing end-to-end bid processes, from monitoring new opportunities to submission and post-bid follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities
Bid Writing & Tender Management
● Write, edit, and coordinate high-quality responses for government tenders, RFPs, RFQs, EOIs, and proposals across global markets.
● Contribute to successful and winning tender submissions, supporting narrative development, compliance, and formatting
● Interpret tender documents, eligibility criteria, and evaluation frameworks accurately
● Develop structured, persuasive bid responses aligned with scoring requirements
● Customize content based on country-specific procurement rules and sector requirements
Monitoring & Tracking
● Actively monitor new government contract opportunities across global tender portals
● Track tender deadlines, submission requirements, and clarification timelines
● Maintain bid trackers, opportunity pipelines, and status dashboards
● Coordinate internal timelines to ensure timely and compliant submissions
Administrative & Coordination Support
● Manage bid documentation, annexures, certifications, and supporting materials
● Maintain and update bid libraries, templates, CVs, case studies, and credentials
● Coordinate inputs from internal teams and external partners
● Ensure version control, formatting, and quality checks before submission
● Support post-submission clarifications, audits, and feedback reviews

Required Skills & Experience
● Minimum 2+ years of experience in bid writing for government or public-sector tenders
● Demonstrated involvement in winning or shortlisted government bids
● Strong understanding of tendering and procurement processes
● Excellent written English and editing skills
● Strong organizational and administrative abilities
● Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
● Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and document management tools
Preferred (Nice to Have)
● Experience working on international tenders
● Familiarity with global tender portals and procurement platforms
● Exposure to compliance matrices, scoring methodologies, and bid governance
