The opportunity
Responsible for the bidding process from initial contact to contract signing. Manages the bid planning process, monitors and reports on bid. Identifies competitive advantages of solution over competitor products/offerings and assists the business in the development of bid strategy for complex bids. Partners with sales, marketing, consulting, legal and other departments to develop and package responses to bids. Serves as the single point of contact for customer during bid process, working in collaboration with the Account Manager/Director. Completes bid submissions and drives approvals, while managing risk. Develops and continuously improves the bid processes, tools and databases. An Experienced Professional applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency.
