Job Description
Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, this position is responsible for performing therapy in a manner that is consistent with the legal and ethical standards set by the professional field and the YMCA of San Francisco's mission. This clinic-based position is responsible for maintaining a caseload of clients both in person and virtually. This includes providing assessment, individual and family counseling, crisis intervention and case management. With the help of a local consulting agency, our team of community leaders and staff have made accountability and affinity work central to our purpose and believe that the only way forward in building a better workplace reflects the vision of change we want to see in the larger community in working towards racial equity. Salary Range: $34.50 to $39.50 per hour MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS A master's degree in counseling, psychology or social work OR currently enrolled in a MA program. Current registration with the BBS. At least 1 year post graduate school, working with youth and their families Knowledge of legal and ethical standards of practice, including child abuse reporting laws. Bilingual in Spanish PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in crisis management, collaboration, school services and provision of training
