Position: Billing Engineer

Working Days : 6 days


Job Summary

The Billing Engineer (Civil) is responsible for preparing, verifying, and managing project bills,

measurements, and cost-related documentation for civil construction projects. The role

ensures accurate billing and proper tracking of project costs, and compliance with contract

terms.


Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit Running Account (RA) Bills, final bills, and reconciliation

statements.

• Take off quantities from GFC drawings, BOQs, and specifications.

• Prepare and verify measurement sheets as per site progress.

• Coordinate with site engineers for accurate measurements and work completion

data.

• Study contract agreements, BOQs, specifications, and scope of work.

• Handle extra items, variations, and deviation statements.

• Prepare rate analysis for new and non-BOQ items.

• Monitor project costs and assist in cost control.

• Coordinate with consultants, and third-party agencies for bill certification.

• Attend billing-related meetings and resolve billing queries.

• Maintain proper billing records, abstracts, and supporting documents.

• Prepare monthly cost reports and billing summaries.

• Maintain records for subcontractor bills and certifications.

• Verify subcontractor measurements and bills.

• Ensure timely processing and certification of subcontractor payments.

• Reconcile subcontractor quantities with client bills.

• Entry of bill on ERP Software


Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering

• 2–6 years of experience in billing for Residential construction projects

• Proficiency in ERP MS Excel, AutoCAD

• Strong knowledge of BOQs, measurements, and billing procedures

• Familiarity with construction contracts and specifications

• Good analytical and numerical skills

• Effective communication and coordination skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy
