Billing Specialist

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Interstate Billing Specialist is responsible for reviewing documents submitted by independent contractors for accuracy, ensuring billing and distribution are in compliance with all related contract terms, entering relevant data to generate financial view for revenue entry and distribution, and releasing billing information for invoicing purposes.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of rating, price auditing or accounting experience. Transportation experience a plus. Candidate must be a self-motivator who requires minimal supervision, must possess strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, and be able to read and comprehend different contract types. Candidates must have the ability to deal with many accounts and projects in a fast-paced environment.
