Job Description

PURPOSE
The Billing Support Specialist II handles more complex inquiries and serves as a knowledge resource for peers. This role requires deeper understanding of carrier billing, dispute processes, and payment workflows, with the ability to independently resolve moderate issues and mentor Level I team members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform all duties of Specialist I with increased speed and accuracy.
- Research and resolve moderately complex billing and payment issues.
- Provide insight and feedback on recurring issues to inform process improvements.
- Coach junior team members and assist in onboarding/training.
- Proactively identify when to escalate issues or bring in specialized teams.
- Ensure high-quality communication and service standards are consistently met.
