BIM Architect

Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Development: Create detailed CAD drawings of delivery station layouts, including equipment, workspaces, and infrastructure, based on current standards and future design initiatives.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Design Engineers, fellow CAD drafters, World Wide Engineering (WWE), Pre-Construction, Construction, external architects, MHE vendors, and Launch Execution teams to deliver complete and approved design sets.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Review and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on permit sets, structural drawings, elevations, and floorplans to address design-related inquiries.
• Quality Assurance: Support the design quality control process by participating in peer reviews, following design checklists and standards, and incorporating feedback from Design Engineers to ensure zero-defect outputs.
• Project Execution: Deliver new designs, post-permit updates, expansions, and retrofits that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and capacity at delivery stations.
• Process Improvement: Implement new design templates, safety protocols, and process improvements into standard design practices.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• 1-3 years of Revit Experience
• 1-3 years of project coordination experience
• 1-3 years of experience in facility layout, manufacturing design, commercial, industrial, or structural drafting
• AutoCAD Experience a bonus

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Revit or AutoCAD Architecture within a design, civil, construction, or architectural environment
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Bluebeam
