Role Overview

The BIM Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes within a construction project. In a main contracting environment, the coordinator bridges design consultants, subcontractors, and site teams, ensuring that digital models are accurate, compliant, and aligned with project execution plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model Coordination : Manage and integrate 3D models from multiple disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP) to ensure consistency.
  • Clash Detection : Conduct regular clash tests using Navisworks or similar tools, resolving conflicts before site execution.
  • Standards Compliance : Implement BIM Execution Plans (BEP), ISO 19650 standards, and company BIM protocols.
