Job Summary

:

The BIM Architect is responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating Building Information Models (BIM) throughout all project phases. This role supports architectural design excellence by producing accurate models, construction drawings, and technical documentation while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders. The BIM Architect ensures design intent, quality, and compliance are maintained from concept through construction.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Perform model audits for geometry, data accuracy, naming conventions, and compliance

  • Support intra and inter-discipline coordination meetings and issue resolution

  • Manage model exchanges, version control, and model publishing

  • Enforce BIM Execution Plan (BEP), project BIM standards, and LOD requirements

  • Review models for: Constructability and coordination readiness, Parameter compliance, and data consistency, identifying gaps, risks, and coordination issues early and escalate appropriately

  • Support development and maintenance of BIM guidelines, templates, and families

  • Lead clash review sessions and track resolution status, Maintain clash reports, logs, and coordination trackers

  • Strong verbal and written communication for coordination meetings, Issue tracking, and reporting

  • Strong experience in design development, coordination, and construction support

  • Exposure to data centers / industrial / commercial / infrastructure projects preferred

  • Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Architectural field from an accredited college or university

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge in other software like Microstation, AutoCAD, Tekla (Rebar detailing), CIVIL 3D, Photoshop

  • Willingness to accept field assignment on projects anywhere in the world

  • Prior experience of working in infrastructure projects or institutional/Industrial buildings shall be of added advantage


  • 12+ years of relevant work experience



  • Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ensure drawings and models comply with:
  • Project-specific design guidelines

  • International BIM Standards (ISO 19650)
  • Experience in coordinating with Structural, MEP & other disciplines and the external vendor models.

  • Capable of driving clash resolution workflows and follow-ups.

  • Ability to create and maintain Revit templates, Content libraries, BIM checklists, and SOPs

  • Strong verbal and written communication for coordination meetings, Issue tracking, and reporting.
