BIM Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BIM Specialist with expertise in MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting) systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing BIM models specifically for MEPF disciplines. This role is crucial for supporting design teams, enhancing project delivery, and ensuring accurate, clash-free coordination of MEPF systems across various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• BIM Model Creation and Management: Develop, manage, and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting) systems using industry-standard BIM software.
• Interdisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to seamlessly integrate MEPF systems into overall building models, ensuring a cohesive and well-coordinated design.
• Clash Detection and Resolution: Proactively conduct regular clash detection using BIM coordination tools (e.g., Autodesk Navisworks) to identify, analyze, and resolve design conflicts early in the project lifecycle. Generate clash detection reports and perform coordination tasks.
• BIM Standards and Content: Generate, Maintain and update BIM standards, templates, families and libraries specific to MEPF disciplines. Support the development and implementation of company-wide BIM protocols and execution plans.
• Drawing and Model Production: Prepare and review conceptual, Good For Construction (GFC), shop drawings, fabrication models, and as-built models directly extracted from BIM data.
• BIM Data and Analysis: Assist in accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimation by extracting reliable data from BIM models.
• Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BIM software and tools to project teams. Conduct training sessions on BIM processes and MEPF modeling techniques as needed.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure BIM models and deliverables comply with project specifications, relevant building codes, and industry standards.
• Documentation and Reporting: Generate reports and comprehensive documentation required for project approvals, coordination meetings, and overall project management.
