Position: BIM Modeler MEP

A BIM Modeler specializing in MEP systems plays a critical role in the design and construction process, ensuring that the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components of a building are well- coordinated and meet the necessary standards and regulations.We are looking a candidate who has experience to handle International projects and 3D BIM Coordinated models.

Primary Responsibilities:

• MEP Modelling : Creating detailed 3D models of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems using BIM software. This includes components such as HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), electrical wiring, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• System Integration: Collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into the overall building design. Ensuring that the MEP systems align with the architectural and structural elements.
• Coordination: Conducting clash detection and coordination meetings to identify and resolve clashes or conflicts between different building systems. This is crucial to prevent issues during construction and to optimize spatial efficiency.
• Parametric Modeling: Creating parametric models that allow for the dynamic adjustment of system components. This helps in exploring different design options and facilitates easy updates as the project evolves.
• Data Managment: Adding and managing relevant data associated with MEP components, such as specifications, performance data, and maintenance requirements. This information is valuable for facility management and maintenance activities.
• Performance Analysis: Utilizing BIM tools to analyze the performance of MEP systems, such as energy efficiency, thermal comfort, and lighting levels. This contributes to the overall sustainability and functionality of the building.
• Code Compliance: Ensuring that MEP systems comply with local building codes and regulations. Staying informed about industry standards and updates to ensure designs meet safety and compliance requirements.
• Documentation: Generating detailed drawings, schedules, and reports related to MEP systems. Providing documentation for construction teams, facility managers, and other stakeholders.

Skills and competencies

• Technichal Skills:
• Create 3D BIM coordinated models in Revit MEP as per specific standards and practices.
• Develop plans, sections, elevations and details from a 3D BIM model for projects of all sizes and technical complexities.
• Business acumen

• Excellect communication skills and presentability

Experience & Qualification

• 2-5 years of experience in BIM(MEP).
• Ensure high level of accuracy of work done and meet deadlines.
• Create 3D views on an as-needed basis for marketing or project use
• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical.
