BIM Modeler – Mechanical (MEP)

Software Proficiency: Revit MEP (Mandatory), Navisworks, AutoCAD

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mechanical BIM Modeler to join our MEP

BIM team in Chennai. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Revit MEP and capable of

developing coordinated 3D mechanical systems models for high-quality MEP design and

construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage mechanical (HVAC, piping, firefighting) BIM models using Revit MEP .

• Prepare coordinated models and shop drawings as per project requirements.

• Collaborate with electrical, plumbing, and architectural teams to resolve clashes and ensure model accuracy.

• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.

• Adhere to project-specific BIM Execution Plans and standards.

• Work on international and Indian MEP projects including commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.

• Participate in design review meetings and support site coordination teams when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.

• 3–10 years of experience in BIM Modeling – Mechanical (HVAC, FF,

• Plumbing preferred).

• Excellent proficiency in Revit MEP is mandatory.

• Working knowledge of Navisworks, AutoCAD, and understanding of BIM

• standards (LOD, COBie, etc.).

• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
