As our new BIM Modeler – Electrical, you will join a world class, innovation driven engineering design center owned by an independent trust and its employees. REC (the Ramboll Engineering Centre)is a highly sophisticated center of engineering excellence in India. Working in partnership with all our established offices globally, REC is a center for excellence in design by offering optimized solutions to the rest of the organization.

As BIM Modeler - Electrical, you will undertake modelling on projects within the High-Rise Spearhead in Ramboll Denmark, contributing high quality deliverables across a wide range of building services projects. Key responsibilities and duties will be, but not limited to, the listed below:

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Preparation of general and emergency lighting layouts, including switching and controls.
  • Preparation of HV/LV power routing, main, sub-main and final circuit containment layouts
  • Preparation of Electrical Power Schematic diagrams.
  • Preparation of Earthing Schematic diagram, including foundation earthing and lightning protection.
  • Preparation of Fire Alarm & PA Schematic diagrams.
  • Preparation of Fire alarm & PA layout.
  • Use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) to perform drawing work tasked.
  • Monitor/check for any clashes with other disciplines and contribute to resolving clashes

    • Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or ITI trained professional (expected to perform BIM modeling as the primary work function)
  • Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in electrical system modelling ideally having worked on Middle East & UK international projects .
  • Ability to develop complex drawings with minimal guidance from other senior staff
  • In depth knowledge of software’s such as AutoCAD and Revit.
  • English language skills in both writing and speaking
  • Experienced in 3D Revit modelling
  • Expert skills within Solibri /Navisworks
