Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize biochemical processes including fermentation, cell culture, enzymatic reactions and downstream purification.
- Scale laboratory processes to pilot and industrial scale ensuring process efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to implement new bioprocess technologies.
- Conduct process simulations and risk assessments to improve yield throughput and safety.
- Develop and maintain process documentation including SOPs, batch records and process flow diagrams (PFDs).
- Analyze experimental data and prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations and industry standards (e.g. GMP, ISO).
- Evaluate and select equipment, materials and technologies suitable for biochemical manufacturing.
