Bioinformatics Scientist

About the Role

ArgenTag is seeking a Bioinformatics Scientist in Argentina to bridge the gap between raw genomic data and biological insights. You will be responsible for building and scaling pipelines that process single-cell RNA-seq data, specifically focusing on long-read sequencing technologies (PacBio/Oxford Nanopore).

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis:
  Process raw single-cell RNA-seq data using custom and third-party pipelines.
• Pipeline Development:
  Build and optimize scalable, reproducible bioinformatics pipelines for speed, accuracy and computational efficiency.
• Data Management:
  Handle large-scale genomic datasets, including storage, archiving, and cloud-based processing.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
  Work with Biology and Software teams to translate experimental data into actionable results for international clients.
