Job Description
We are building Drucks, a next generation premium footwear brand that uses 3 D printing, custom fit and a no-inventory model to create better shoes for people. Biomechanics will be the foundation of how we design, engineer and validate our footwear.
What you will do
• Study foot anatomy, gait, pressure distribution and movement to define the core biomechanics principles for our footwear
• Develop frameworks that correlate foot shape, use cases, weight, activity and materials to custom fit outcomes
• Work closely with industrial design, materials and 3 D printing teams to translate biomechanics insights into physical products
• Define testing standards and evaluation methods for fit, comfort, performance and long term health impact
• Set up research processes, tools and data collection systems for continuous learning and improvement
• Collaborate with external experts, labs, institutes & professionals when required
Who you are
• Strong background in biomechanics, kinesiology, sports science or related field
• Experience in footwear, performance gear or medical orthotics is a strong plus
• Comfortable working at early stage with high ambiguity and ownership
• Curious about foot health, movement science and product innovation
Why this role matters
Good footwear is not just about style or cushioning. It affects posture, athletic performance, joint loads and overall movement health. We want to build a brand from first principles rather than trend-driven fashion. Biomechanics is at the core of this mission.
If you are passionate about movement and want to reshape the future of footwear, reach out.
