Job Description
1. Performs tests, repairs, calibrates and maintains medical equipment.
2. Disassembles equipment and adjusts, troubleshoots and replaces faulty and worn mechanical parts.
3. Maintains detailed record of repairs and preventive maintenance of equipment.
4. Performs preventative maintenance on all medical equipment.
5. Assures that equipment’s are in compliance with the medical facilities standards and best practices.
6. Consistently consults with the medical staff, instructing them on the operation of equipment and any issues with regard to its functionality.
7. Responsible for notifying the supplier and/in service provider regarding the repair words needed in particular equipment.
8. In charge of receiving warranty, operating manuals, and schematic diagrams of the equipment from the supplier.
