Biostatistician & Data Scientist — Dialysis Registry Analytics

Closes 5 March. The South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) is looking for a Data Scientist / Biostatistician. ANZDATA is a large observational Registry including all people treated with dialysis and kidney transplantation throughout Australia and New Zealand; the ANZOD Registry collects data on deceased solid organ donors. The Registries provide a large number of analyses of these data, including a variety of quality assurance reports together with an active research program (both internal and in collaboration with external stakeholders). The nature of the data collection leads to the application of a variety of statistical techniques and approaches. Most of the analyses currently are performed using Stata software. This position will be largely focussed on refinement and analyses of a data resource created by linkage of ANZDATA Registry data with automated data from peritoneal dialysis treatments (“Sharesource”).
