Blast Crew

We are on the lookout for experienced , lively, vibrant and eagerBlast Crew to join our growing Platinum family, with permanent fulltime positions available within the Bowen basin.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, these positions will be offered on a 7:7 even time roster.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Dipping, priming, loading, stemming, and tie-in of blast patterns to achieve daily loading and blasting objectives safely and efficiently
• Ensure the safe, use, storage, security, transport and handling of explosives in accordance with all statutory and company procedural requirements
• Operate ancillary equipment (stemming loader, etc)
• Work together with the entire blast team to meet daily operational targets
