Fabric Maintenance Technician (Offshore Blaster /Painter )

We have an opportunity for experienced Fabric Maintenance Technicians (Offshore Blaster / Painter ) to join our team on the FPSO Pyrenees unit in the Pyrenees field. The Pyrenees field is located in Permit WA-12-R.

Responsibilities
  • Mobilise and demobilise blasting hoppers/spray pumps and encapsulations
  • Perform abrasive blast, ranging from a whip class SA 3 on ferrous and non-ferrous substrates using both garnet and steel abrasives
  • Hand/Mechanical preparation of repair areas using orbital
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Candidates must hold relevant trade certifications and demonstrate strong safety commitments.
  • Experience with offshore cleaning and blasting techniques.
  • IRATA Rope Access Level 3 qualification.
  • Ability to perform tasks in a high risk offshore environment.
