Role Summary

The Blockchain / Crypto Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining blockchain-based components that support digital asset transactions, crypto payment rails, and secure distributed ledger integrations. The role focuses on production grade smart contracts, blockchain integrations, and backend services that connect decentralized networks with enterprise payment and financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy smart contracts for blockchain-based payment and asset systems.

• Build and maintain integrations between blockchain networks and centralized backend services.

• Implement secure wallet, key management, and transaction-signing mechanisms.

• Develop APIs and services that enable on-chain and off-chain interactions.

• Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of blockchain and crypto components.

• Conduct code reviews, testing, and support smart contract audits and remediation.

• Collaborate with product, backend, compliance, and infrastructure teams.

• Monitor live blockchain systems, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Blockchain or Crypto Developer in production environments.

• Strong experience with Ethereum / EVM-based blockchains.

• Advanced proficiency in Solidity and smart contract development.

• Experience with blockchain development frameworks (Hardhat, Truffle, Foundry, or similar).

• Backend development experience using Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript), Go, or Python.

• Solid understanding of cryptography, digital signatures, and blockchain security principles.

• Experience integrating Web3 libraries (Ethers.js, Web3.js) and RPC providers.

• Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker).

Nice to Have

• Experience with non-EVM chains (Solana, Polkadot, Cosmos, or similar).

• Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services environments.

• Knowledge of Layer-2 scaling solutions and cross-chain protocols.

• Experience with blockchain security audits or formal verification.

• Understanding of AML/KYC and regulatory considerations for crypto systems.

• Experience with tokenomics, stablecoins, or programmable payments.

• Prior startup or high-growth technology environment experience.
