Job Description

  • Develop BMC Firmware, encompassing design, coding, debugging, and leveraging knowledge of server hardware architecture and system design.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing systems, addressing customer/FAE inquiries and concerns.
  • Analyze BMC firmware specifications and configuration requirements, ensuring reliability and compatibility.
  • Conduct testing, including unit tests, to ensure firmware quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-team validation organizations.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Linux OS with experience in Linux driver and application development.
  • Familiarity with BMC firmware vendors and code structures, with the ability to define and identify specific BMC firmware requirements.
  • Knowledge of IPMI 2.0 specification.
  • Strong coding skills in C/C++ and a solid understanding of component and object-oriented programming concepts.
