Job Description

A skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is needed to support K-12 students within a Kansas City, MO school district for the contract period of December 15, 2025, through May 22, 2026. This onsite role involves direct collaboration with educators and related staff to enhance behavioral interventions and support systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Model intervention strategies for teachers, paraprofessionals, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
  • Provide training on various intervention techniques to school personnel.
  • Identify and implement effective data collection methods relating to student behavior.
  • Supervise RBTs and oversee their support activities.
  • Observe students and classrooms, offering recommendations for behavior response plans and learning environments.
  • Collaborate with district personnel and educational professionals to support and guide program development.
  • Research and apply evidence-based behavioral practices.
  • Evaluate and implement programs and trainings to meet established goals.
  • Manage schedules to address multiple student and school needs.
  • Coordinate data collection, analyze behavioral data, and maintain accurate electronic records.
  • Prepare reports, training materials, and documentation to support program activities.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Valid professional license.
  • Completion of supervision course relevant to RBT oversight.
  • Experience in K-12 educational settings preferred.
  • Strong assessment, program development, and implementation skills within academic, social, and behavioral domains.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
