Job Description

  • Design, analyze and/or evaluate specific engineering requirements. Develop basic sketches and/or 
  • directions for various applications as required.

  • Obtain and develop data for and prepare specifications, test procedures, safety reports and purchase-related documents.
  • Review, analyze, and report on supplier, architect-engineer and consortium partner drawings and proposals and make recommendations on specific technical areas.
  • Consult with appropriate engineering functions to insure design criteria is suitable for the application and advise those concerned of changes required. 
  • Prepare or lead the preparation of technical documents. 
  • Assist less experienced engineers and technicians on specific technical problems.
  • Carry out basic economic studies for bid purposes.
  • Participate in various internal meetings
  • May perform lead function in achieving engineering schedule, hours and technical quality. Prepare instructions and supplemental information for lower level engineers.
  • Identify and process changes that impact contract margin.
  • Engage in domestic and/or international travel as required.
