Job Description

Cleveland-Cliffs has immediate openings for Boiler Operators at our Tilden Mine operation located in Ishpeming, Michigan. This position is responsible for maintaining low pressure boilers.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Attends to boilers and auxiliary equipment to supply steam for plant and process use

  • Attends to equipment in the grinding, concentrating and dewatering areas of the plant and outside thickeners, pumphouses and disposal systems

  • Performs equipment checks and inspections

  • Other duties as assigned

    • Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Have the ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions and procedure manuals
